As a young male professional living in New York, I often ask myself this question:
How does one work successfully in the 21st century. My answer, to never stop learning by constantly pursuing knowledge, acceptance, and diversity.
Nowadays, you never know who you’ll work for or who you’ll work with. And the key to success in (and out) of the office is acceptance and diversity. Knowing that there are people out there that are not like you, Accepting that people have different methods, habits, and opinions, and then appreciating the Diversity of all these nuances.
The only way to be successful nowadays is to strive for continual improvement. We do this by working holistically on every aspect of ourselves. Learning more, reading more, seeing more, traveling more, experiencing more, then knowing more, and eventually succeeding more.
